About Rebecca

Rebecca Lorber

Rebecca brings a love of travel and over 25 years of experience in the private aviation industry to her role as Owner and Lead Travel Advisor of CompassSwing. She started her first business in 2012 and successfully managed a variety of marketing and business development projects for her clients for over 10 years before deciding to pursue her interests in the broader travel and hospitality marketspace. Prior to that, Rebecca worked as the Director of Marketing for an aircraft sales and service center; as the Director of Business Development for an FBO; and as a business analyst for a military defense contractor. Rebecca earned her Bachelor's Degree at Auburn University and her Master's Degree at Georgia Tech. She has loved traveling since she was just a kid and has visited all 50 states and over 40 countries.

CompassSwing is affiliated with Nexion Travel Group. As the travel industry’s premier host travel agency since 1995, Nexion supports travel advisors in the US and Canada through partnerships with over 140 cruise, land, hotel, car, and insurance providers.

Rebecca is a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors; attended the Global River Cruise Expos in Budapest (2023) and in Amsterdam (2024) to learn about this exciting segment of the industry; and is proud to share that she recently completed the required coursework to earn ASTA's Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) designation.

Rebecca focuses on ocean, river and land tour packages for independent travel to Europe and specializes in Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and Switzerland.
